Los Angeles bound JetBlue plane forced to return to Boston

BREAKING NEWS RIGHT NOW FROM LOGAN AIRPORT FLIGHT TOOK OFF FOR CALIFORNIA. HAD TO RETURN TO BOSTON RIGHT AFTER TAKEOFF. IT’S JETBLUE FLIGHT 687. A JetBlue plane bound for Los Angeles from Boston’s Logan International Airport was forced to return to Boston Thursday afternoon after a warning indicator light came on in flight.JetBlue Flight 687, being operated by an Airbus A321 aircraft, was approximately an hour into its cross-country flight when a warning indication related to the airplane’s hydraulic system came on, a spokesperson for the company said. The plane turned around while in flight and returned to Boston without incident. Video showed one or two emergency vehicles from Logan Airport’s response team meeting the aircraft out on the runway. In a statement, JetBlue said the aircraft would be taken out of service for inspection. Passengers on the flight were expected to be transferred to a different aircraft to resume their journey to California.
