Two protestors arrested during Rockford City Market

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Rockford Police say two protestors were arrest during the last Friday City Market of the year.

19-year-old Jordan Nelson and 34-year-old Albert Riley face multiple charges including aggravated battery.

One of the people charged suffers minor injuries. Officers say once released he will be held at the Winnebago County Jail.

Two arrests were made earlier this evening near City Market. One of the two charged, an adult male, was treated for minor injuries and once released, will be lodged in the County Jail. Further details to follow.
