UPDATE: No devices found at Amazon Fulfillment Center by Bibb deputies, K-9 units

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says someone called Amazon to report a bomb threat, but that the building was clear of any devices

MACON, Ga. — Macon-Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the Amazon Fulfillment Center in Macon on Saturday.  

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office responded with K-9 units to a call from Amazon around 1 p.m.

According to a release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, a bomb threat was called into Amazon around 12:30 p.m. but the building was cleared of any threats.

Everyone evacuated was able to return to work around 4:30 p.m.

The building is located at 7001 Skipper Road in Macon.
